January 10, 2009: Annual Winter Potluck!

Posted by Webmistress on December 7th, 2008

You and your spouse/significant other/family are invited to join us for the Bryn Mawr College Club of Chicago Annual Winter Potluck. Children of all ages are welcome. Take this opportunity to break the winter blues, re-connect with old friends and meet new faces. We look forward to seeing you there!

Rachel Goodman and her husband once again have generously offered to host the potluck in their home. As our new Career Development Representative, Rachel is pitching the potluck as a great opportunity not only for fun but also for networking–another reason to come and connect!

The potluck will be preceded by a board meeting to which all are welcome. Attending the board meeting is an excellent way to get involved in the club and to submit and discuss new ideas. We are always looking for new volunteers, so join us! The board meeting will take place at 3:30 p.m., before the 5:30pm potluck.

It would be much appreciated if you would consider common dietary needs when deciding what to bring (nut/dairy allergy, etc.).

See you in January!

When: Saturday, January 10th
Board meeting: 3:30pm
Potluck: 5:30pm

Where: Rachel Goodman’s home in Wilmette (details will be included in the e-vite invitation).

P.S. If you are an area alum and we have your e-mail address, you should be receiving an on-line invitation to the potluck in your e-mail soon. If you don’t receive an invitation, please e-mail us at bmcchicago[at]gmail.com and we’ll make sure you get the event details!
